Prof. Pingchuan Sun has developed advanced solid-state NMR methods for the study of multiscale structure and dynamics of macromolecules and provided new insight into the structure-property relationship and molecular design of advanced polymer materials. He also proposed new bio-inspired strategies to prepare high-performance polymer materials and their nanocomposites.
