 Recently, CiteScore 2025, a key metric for measuring the international influence of journals, was officially released by Elsevier's Scopus database. In the newly released CiteScore 2025, eScience has achieved a CiteScore of 63.4, representing a 29.32% increase from 48.8 in 2024. The journal ranks in the Q1 quartile across all three of its subject categories:

  1. Ranked 1st out of 65 journals in Electrochemistry;

  2. Ranked 2nd out of 345 journals in Renewable Energy, Sustainability and the Environment;

  3. Ranked 2nd out of 327 journals in Materials Chemistry.

Since its official inclusion in the Scopus database in 2022, eScience's CiteScore has demonstrated a consistent and robust upward trajectory. The growth of eScience would not have been possible without the generous support and dedicated contributions of experts and scholars, the editorial board, authors, reviewers, and readers worldwide. We will continue to uphold our founding mission of Rooted in China, Embracing the World, Leading the Future, striving to build a world-class academic journal and to continue providing high-quality services to scientists and researchers both at home and abroad.
