A relatively new discipline in the College of Chemistry, which was established and recruited her first graduate student in 2002. Undergraduate recruitment started in the year of 2012. The State Key Laboratory of Medicinal Chemical Biology was established by the Ministry of Science & Technology of China in 2011. The research interest in the discipline is at the interface of Chemistry and Biology, focusing in biomolecular interaction and its regulation by small molecules such as drugs and pesticides.
